Sylfirm X Radiofrequency Microneedling
SylfirmX is our newest addition to help combat pigmentation, premature aging and promote optimal skin rejuvenation. This is the world’s first FDA approved Pulsed Wave and Continuous Wave Radio Frequency Micro Needling device with depth that targets both skin laxity and hyperpigmentation.
This combined Dual wave Radiofrequency and microneedling machine targets fine lines, wrinkles, and discoloration. It refines the skin surface and helps minimize signs of sun damage and aging. Plus, it stimulates collagen production from within. As your body generates new collagen, fine lines and wrinkles will smooth, and your skin will tighten which helps improve sagging and laxity.
Dr. Pantea Hashemi prefers the SylfirmX technology because it delivers both pulsed wave and continuous wave radiofrequency. The microneedle electrodes target all skin layers with optimal improvement of vascularity and hyperpigmentation.
Treatments take just a short time, and healing and recovery is quick. Treatments will improve the appearance of pigmentation, rejuvenate sun-damaged skin, and improve skin texture. The treatment is clinically proven though 25+ studies that showcase improvement of skin texture and tone with minimal downtime and side effects.

- Get cold sores, or have a history of Herpes
- Have any medical conditions, including diabetes
- Have any cardiac disorders and have been followed by a cardiologist
- Take any medications or supplements
Your cosmetic consultation
Dr. Hashemi will review your medical history and all medications you are taking. She will examine your skin and discuss your expectations and aesthetic goals. With this information she will recommend the most appropriate treatment options to achieve your goals. If you are prone to developing cold sores, certain medication is required prior to your procedure.
Am I a good candidate?
You may not be a good candidate if
- you tend to scar easily or have tendency to develop keloids
- you have diabetes or impaired immunity
- any medical condition that impairs wound heling
- you have a cardiac disorder or use a pacemaker or defibrillator
- you have active weeping acne lesion
- you are pregnant or breast feeding
- you smoke, as it can impact your healing and cause complications
Your treatment plan may include more than RF Microneedling treatment: To give patients the best results, dermatologists often use more than 3-4 treatment for scars. For example, if a patient has deep acne scars, a dermatologist may treat the scars with a SylfirmX along with fillers or chemical peels.
You may need more than one SylfirmX treatment. To give a patient long-lasting result and the most improvement, Dr. Hashemi may recommend a series of RF Microneedling sessions.
The procedure
SylfirmX is an office procedure using topical anesthetic to numb the skin and reduce pain and discomfort. Radiofrequency micro-needles are used to induce microdamage in a controlled manner, provoking natural wound healing. This promotes the formation of elastin and collagen.
After insertion of the microneedles in your skin, RF energy is emitted from the device in the form of heat, which is delivered right into the dermis. This may induce minimal itching and discomfort but the discomfort will rapidly improve with the application of a calming balm after treatment.
Minor sedation may be offered. You will receive complete instructions about post procedure care. Ensure good sun protection and avoid any topical acids and exfoliants to avoid further irritation.
Recovery
Posttreatment care is essential to reduce the risk of complications. Dr. Hashemi will provide complete post treatmen-care and recommend topical medications to support wound healing including Exosomes. Wearing sunscreen daily will protect the new healthy skin, from damage. As you heal and new collagen is produced, the skin will tighten and fine lines and wrinkles will improve.
RF Microneedling requires the expertise of a highly trained and experienced cosmetic surgeon. In the right hands, RF Microneedling can dramatically improve your skin. Contact Dr. Hashemi at the University Skin Institute in Sacramento.
Exosome Regenerative Complex
After your SylfirmX treatment, the provider will apply Exosome Regenerative Complex on your face. The Exosome Regenerative Complex contains a combination of amino acids, peptides, growth factor, vitamins, minerals, humectants, and coenzymes that promote skin healing and regeneration. Exosome therapy is the latest treatment for skin healing as it exists naturally in our body and promotes cell to cell communication. The natural occurring exosomes have now been lyophilized into a stable product that can be safely applied on the skin. This topical treatment absorbs quickly through the skin and delivers a concentrated number of exosomes, peptides, amino acids, and growth factors. Growth factors have a pivotal role in maintaining both the firmness and elasticity to the skin reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improving skin tone and texture.
What are the benefits of Exosome Treatment?
